Thanks for your comments on my blog, it always feels good to know others in the 'same boat'.
Hmmm... as for words of wisdom, can't really think of much, I'm feeling rather uninspired myself.
So I'll quote from one of my fav songs which I'm listening to right now, "Oh, if there is one thing I hang onto, That gets me through the night. I ain't gonna do what I don't want to, I'm gonna live my life. Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice, Standing on the ledge, I'll show the wind how to fly. When the world gets in my face, I say, Have A Nice Day." - Bon Jovi
Always remember to put on deodorant in the morning.
Brush your teeth often, floss daily.
Don't spill hot coffee on yourself while driving.
Wear sunscreen everyday.
Um..
Don't wander into the street without looking first.
That's all I can think of right now. My mommy brain is still stuck on things like, don't stick crayons up your nose and put on shoes before playing outside...which I bet you have already figured out.
If questions are allowed, I have one. Why did you pick the name turtle boy? My husband is a marine biologist and he does a lot of work with sea turtles. His friends kid him some times and call him turtle boy. :)
SMILEY - Songs really do communicate messages, don't they! There's something about driving home a feeling not only with words, but with the expression of music that makes the message that much more... punctuated.
OSHEE - Good advice, thanks! I remember one piece of advice I will never forget - because I lived the adventure - "when demoing a basement, never hang off the piece of ceiling you're trying to pull down... it will come down!"
IPM - Wow. That made me stop to reflect for a few moments... and brings with it a question: Why is this so difficult to do?
MEGZ - Meaningful, of course: remembering to laugh, but from your soul... some laugh to hide the pain. Good advice on an arguement, and I've found that getting MORE sleep in the first place is a fantastic strategy to AVOID arguements.
English student, Pottery enthusiast, Yoga novice and lover of all people. I make friends over a warm handshake and a beverage. I discover, every day, someone willing to help me along my path.

hmm....
remember that each day is a life unto itself, and that at the end, you will go to sleep, and receive a new one.
this day is all that I have right now, nothing in the past, nothing in the future.
just this moment...
what do you want it to be?
This is hard!
Always eat dessert first, don't go to sleep on an argument, make sure you turn the stove off before you go out.
Sorry, nothing deep and meaningful to contribute!
O yes! Remember to LAUGH!
eat more prosciutto :)

TRACIE - Definitely!
POP - Hang in there for the next blog post!
Okay, I'm hanging :)
If you're working on a project and drop a nail or screw on the floor, don't bend over to pick it up. Eventually you will drop another.
I apply that principle to socks from the dryer (I'm obsessing on laundry lately).
Days have been sunny so I've been outside. Two days of rain brought me up to snuff.
