OK, I finally got it together: photos of the pottery pieces I've been boasting about for some time. What we're going to run here is something of an auction.
The thing is, I don't want money.
Instead, I want you to bid something, anything, that isn't money. In fact, something you make, something that's 'you' is of far more value to me than your money.
Limit one piece per blogger.
So with that in mind, let the bidding begin...
I've placed links to the successful bidders on the items that are now spoken for.
ITEM ONE: Anvilcloud
ITEM TWO: Cathouse Teri
ITEM THREE: Ipodmama
ITEM FOUR: Oshee
ITEM FIVE: Susie
From Turtle's "Archaeological Collection" come these two relics:
ITEM SIX
ITEM SEVEN
No bidding wars, please.
First come, first served.
Regarding shipping:
I will cover shipping costs from this end.
Bidders will cover the cost of shipping of their item-in-trade.
Shipping arrangements will be made by email at turtle_guy_70@hotmail.com.
Happy shopping!

I love number four..
but what could i possibly make for you? you like baby quilts? lol..
let me think on it..
oh..and even tho i'm a lousy commenter lately, i've been reading here.
I continue to enjoy visiting you turtle friend.
thanks for your visit..
OK, Oshee gets number four!
I'm looking forward to what you come up with!
well, how about some recipes, and a few cross stitched bookmarks?
and some fruit cake, later on...
mucho ta!
Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I love number four also, but I would hate to bid against one of your regular readers.
I look forward to reading more, and I wanted to say that I really loved this in your thankfulness post below:
"i got headlights
to guide me through the night
i got the window down and the radio playing
it makes me feel alive"
Perfect! There's nothing better than driving at night, preferably in a convertible, with the radio on and the wind in your hair.
IPM - Nice! In fact, you rock!
SARI - Hmm... I did say no bidding wars, but... does anything else catch your eye?
Well, I like #1 and I don't see that anyone has bid on it. But what do I have? How about photos. I could print some up. How many 8x10s would it take. Do you see any on my Flickr account that you like?
AC - I've tagged #1 for you, and I will visit your Flickr page and let you know what catches my eye. I expect it's going to be tough to choose!
Dang it. I can't think of a thing to trade.
There's nothing red here! How can I bid if nothing is red.
I'll bid on item #5, but give me a few minutes to decide what to use for the bid
Doozie - Sorry, there's nothing red. Item 6 is glazed in what's called "Red Mustard", but it's more of an earthy brown. There really are no true reds in the glaze selection where I'm working - drawbacks of using a non-toxic, food-safe line of glazes, I suppose. #5 is yours, by the way, and I'm sure you're creative enough to come up with something interesting in trade. And no, I don't need a knife - in case that thought crossed your mind! ;)
I would like to officially offer to trade something about something for Item #2. :)
CT - You're in, my friend!
OK, time to collect shipping information! I'll cover this in the next post. Anyone who missed this, rest assured, there are more pieces on the way!
I'm glad there weren't any battles over the pottery.
I'm imagining virtual grabbing for the same bowl and then I'm hearing virtual breaking of pottery as it crashes to the virtual floor.
Great fun!
I hope everyone enjoys their items and that you enjoy what they send to you.
Have a wonderful week.
Well, I've come late to the party. Thanks for sharing what came out of your kiln. It's always amazing to see how a glaze turns out. Keep on potting!
Aw, all the good ones are taken!
