A quick blurb

Mom turned 85 on Sunday last. We went for prime rib tonight at the Carriage House Inn with her University friend Margaret. There was something delightfully "English" about the whole affair; proper English table service, prime rib with yorkshire pudding, and to top it off what do you think was on the tele overhead? You guessed it, Coronation Street! I was a little disappointed in the rice pudding. It seemed dressed up - whipped cream and strawberries - a bit to frew-frew for me, but all in all, quite tidy.
